We’re excited to announce that we’ll be reopening Monday, 8/24!!!
There are many new protocols that must be implemented in order to ensure safety and compliance with New York State’s guidelines. Please read this in its entirety. Among the new protocols are:
Gym will be kept at or below 33% occupancy
Enter through front door and exit through back door
EVERY member must check-in and every guest must fill out entirety of sign-in sheet
Use hand sanitizer upon entry
Submit to temperature check at entry. Anybody with a reading at or above 100 F will not be admitted
Masks must be worn at all times within the gym
Gaiters/scarfs/bandanas are not acceptable
Water fountains will not be available
Showers will not be available
Social distancing of at least 6 feet will need to be maintained at all times
Equipment (including bars, dumbbells, plates, clips, attachments, etc) must be cleaned before use
Equipment (“…”) must be cleaned AND disinfected after use
No sharing of equipment
No circuits, supersets, etc. Complete your sets on piece of equipment and then move on after cleaning and disinfecting
We are asking that people come ready to workout as much as possible to limit usage of locker rooms where distancing is more difficult.
Cleaning solution, paper towels and disinfectant will be provided. However, if you are able to bring your own disinfectant wipes to reduce our load and costs it would be greatly appreciated.
Initial hours of operation will be as follows:
Monday – Friday: 6am-9pm
Saturday – Sunday: 7am-3pm
The limited hours will be expanded upon as we get back to full staffing but are currently necessary to ensure we can provide a clean and safe environment.
Familiarize yourselves with the information below which is posted in the facility:
DO NOT COME TO GYM IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS:
Temperature of 100 ºF (37.8 ºC) or higher
New cough
Hard time breathing
Sore throat (not due to allergies)
Body aches
Loss of taste or smell
DO NOT COME TO GYM IF YOU HAVE:
Had any other COVID-19 symptoms in past 14 days,
Had a positive COVID-19 diagnostic test in past 14 days,
Had close contact with a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case in past 14 days, and/or
Have traveled within a state with significant community spread of COVID-19 for longer than 24 hours within the past 14 days
By checking in/signing in to workout (each time), you certify that
you are not experiencing any of the above symptoms and that you have not:
Had a positive COVID-19 diagnostic test in the past 14 days,
Had close contact with a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case in the past 14 days, and/or
Traveled within a state with significant community spread of COVID-19 for longer than 24 hours within the past 14 days
